🚔 The Roaming Experiences
We had 3 main experiences that were tailored for the individual and could happen at any time during the event, if you were lucky enough to stumble across it.
In these experiences, the attendees would ‘meet’ one of 3 characters. An office worker, a ranger (officer of the law) or a researcher.
Depending on which character they encountered, and if they wished, they would be taken on a personal experience. They would walk through a door, or sometimes a fridge and find themselves in a pitch black room, a messy office, or a small space filled with mirrors. From here, they would be prompted to defend their values, give an improvised presentation or ‘face themselves’.
It was felt that easing guests into the experience with lightheartedness and getting progressively deeper or more intense gave the best results.
💧The Water Bar
A space where people could be served different types of emotional water served by a member of the Caravan Team.
A guest could order what emotion, or mix of emotions they wanted and given the space to reflect on it as they drank.
This was a more simple and low barrier way to get immersed in play and discover how improvisation and imagination could create powerful moments of connection with complete strangers.
This was a very popular space and much water was served in the bar.
It was a great way participants of the Caravan, who were not so familiar with improv and acting, could get involved.
