Aug - Nov 2022: CON Caravan
Following the same format as the original caravan show, this rendition of the Caravan Experience was performed 5 times over the course of 4 months at private invite only shows with 12 actors and 1 admin.
C.O.N (The Church Of The New) is an organization/cult/religious sect that values newness above all else.
Unknown to the guest, they are being tested to see if they are suitable for indoctrination into the organization as its newest member.
They go through four "tests" based on social norms that they select in a questionnaire filled out before the show (they do not know that this is the focus of the show).
The guests are questioned as a test subject in a study, asked to give a presentation on laws for the new world order, interrogated to determine if they are true to their moral values, decide the fate of someone who broke the laws they created, and are then assessed to see if they are worthy to join C.O.N.
If all goes well, they will leave as the newest member of C.O.N...
until the next guest arrives.
This show was based on our first in-person show at the inaugural unofficial regional burn event in Portugal called "Somewhere" in July 2022.
